The GE DS200ACNAG1A is an ARCNET LAN Connections Board designed for GE’s Mark V Turbine Control System and compatible with EX2000 drive systems. As a compact, externally mounted PCB, it serves as a critical interface for ARCNET data links, connecting the main controller, IOS, protection module, and Mark V turbine control panel via coaxial cables—each board can terminate two coaxial cables using its two female BNC plugs, with the ARCPL connector exclusive to ARCNET models.
Key hardware includes four metal film resistors, two transistors, one diode, three capacitors, two communications relays, a six-pin male vertical pin terminal connector, and two metal-ringed ground openings on either side. It operates at 2.5 Mbps, resulting in ~400 ns signal network time—a timing constraint that limits ARCNET system length to four miles to avoid timeouts.
Its part number encodes key details: the “A” suffix denotes an A-rated functional revision, and “G1” indicates a normal-style protective PCB coating for hardware durability.
